About Department

“In physical science the first essential step in the direction of learning any subject is to find principles of numerical reckoning and practicable methods for measuring some quality connected with it. I often say that when you can measure what you are speaking about, and express it in numbers, you know something about it; but when you cannot measure it, when you cannot express it in numbers, your knowledge is of a meagre and unsatisfactory kind; it may be the beginning of knowledge, but you have scarcely in your thoughts advanced to the state of Science, whatever the matter may be.” —Lord Kelvin

The Department of Physics was established in the year of 2015 with under graduation course. This department was developed and our department students has an excellent academic talents. These departments produce an very good results in university examinations. With an increasingly knowledge based economy and the continuing need for qualified manpower in basic sciences in general and “Physics” in particular, there is an umbrella of opportunities for Physics graduates. This programme provides an excellent background for a wide variety of careers in science, science-related and technological fields. With a team of dedicated faculty and substantial infrastructural facilities, we march towards Excellence

To educate ourselves to provide high quality innovative education at all levels that satisfy the present techno-demand and train the heterogeneous students to be fit in their life.

The Department has ultra-modern well equipped specialized labs like Electronics lab, Spectroscopy lab, Elasticity Lab, Conductivity & Computer Lab.
The Department has its own library with about 200 books to cater to the needs of undergraduate students.
The Physics Association of the Department organized various activities like Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Educational Trip and Science Fair etc.
